Frugal Fashion Friday

Happy Friday!  I decided to add a new weekly topic to my blog since I will be vegging from blogging on Saturday and Sunday. I added Friday and decided to call it Frugal Fashion Friday. Since I launched my personal website Jenny Lynn's Frugal Fashions, the desire to put outfits together from head to toe has been on my mind. Hopefully allowing others see that complete Fashion doesn't have to cost a fortune. If you are leary about shopping at thrift stores for everyday wear, don't fret, I will also be sharing frugal finds from local area stores.

Here is a pic of my outfit inspiration for this week along with my finds which include the brand, store where it was purchased, and cost.  Enjoy!

My finds below: The Dress is Forever 21 from Plato's Cloest for $6. The shoes are Bamboo from Burlington Coat Factory $7, the clutch $4.99 & jewelry set $10 from Charming Charlie's.
Complete outfit $27.99.

In the future I think I will take the photos outside as the lighting indoors serves no justice on how adorable this ensemble is. A big thanks to my baby girl for taking the pics of mommy.
Stay tuned on Friday's for more weekly Frugal Fashions.

In order to have a new beginning, there must be a necessary ending...

What an awesome service this evening at The Grove. I can never share enough about how much I just love our Green Grove family. Everything that is a part of The Grove and everything and everyone that enters the Grove brings a Word that is just so moving. Regardless of where I am in my spiritual walk or what situation I have encountered, I take away something every time I exit the doors at the Grove. Whether it be from our very own Pastor or our guest speakers. If only service was more often than on Sundays. How wonderful would that be.

This evening at our Revival Service our guest Reverend, Lester Taylor shared a word from John 15:1-2 "I am the true vine, and my father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful."

In order to have a new beginning there must be a necessary ending. If you are entering or in the midst of a new season in your life and you are struggling to move on in the direction that God has called on you to enter, you must first recognize what is weighing you down. Are you holding on to past regrets, are you living in a world of coulda, woulda, shoulda and just spending all of your energy trying to rewrite all of the chapters in your life that you just can't seem to let go and get passed. You need to get honest with yourself.  Stop talking about what needs to be changed and start making the changes. You need to realize that God has a plan for you and in order to move forward in that plan, you must let go of the past, you must release the negative elements in your life, and you must let go of the relationships that are hindering your spiritual growth....you must be obedient to His calling. You will never produce and bear fruit on a vine if you aren't willing to cut off the dead branches. Allow God to help you sever all that is unholy. A new season has begun and the decision to make all all of the necessary changes in your life is right now.
